Planning a beautiful and affordable country wedding?
Our village hall is the ideal venue for a relaxed, personalised wedding and reception.
We are licenced by Herefordshire Council to hold civil marriages, civil partnership ceremonies, renewal of vows and naming ceremonies.
Our licence covers both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, therefore offering a totally unique and exclusive venue for sustainable weddings in an idyllic setting.
With spaces for a wedding breakfast, dancing, and a licensed bar, you can tailor the space to your theme and enjoy exclusive hire for your special day.
During the summer, the patio and lawn are perfect for a barbecue or hog roast, and our flexible setup ensures your guests have a fantastic time whether inside or out.
What we offer
Holme Lacy Village Hall is located in the heart of Holme Lacy, Hereford.
Our charming black-and-white half-timbered building features a stunning hall with high vaulted ceilings and elegant wooden floors.
The hall can accommodate up to 95 guests and offers parking for 25 cars, with additional space available if needed upon request.
The venue
Main Hall
Seating capacity of 100 around tables, the main hall has 1 set of double entrance doors from the main entrance lobby.
Stage
This area can be set up for the top table, and can also be used for the band or disco.
Kitchen
Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the essential - a full-size upright fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery, an electric hob, microwave, and more.
Bar
You can set up our bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and have use of our glasses. The area has a capacity for up to 40 people, and has patio doors that open onto a private external area, perfect for outdoor relaxation.
What's included
For just £1,000 you get exclusive hire of the whole venue from Friday 09:00 until Sunday 16:00.
This gives you ample time to set up the venue to your liking before the wedding and to clean up the following day.

SET UP A MARQUEE
For those who desire both the beauty of the outdoors and the comfort of a sheltered space, a beautifully adorned marquee can be set up to provide an elegant yet practical solution.
Draped in flowing fabrics, adorned with floral arrangements, and softly lit with fairy lights or chandeliers, a marquee offers a sophisticated setting while still allowing guests to enjoy the stunning surroundings.
