Western line dancing

LINE DANCING

EVERY THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH 19:00 to 21:00

Learn to Western Line Dance with Single Star Country & Western.

Western line dancing is a form of country line dancing that originated from the traditional dances of cowboys and cowgirls in the western U.S.

Dancers perform synchronized steps in lines.  Common moves include the Tush Push, Heel Dig, and Charleston.

The dance style, which combines elements of swing, cha-cha, and rock and roll, became popular in the 1950s and 1960s, with a resurgence in the 1980s. It is typically enjoyed in venues like dance bars, social clubs, and ballrooms.
